If you are someone who has to arrive by plane, Knoxville Airport (McGhee Tyson Airport) is the one to choose. The airport is a little over an hour away from the venue, but about an hour to downtown Gatlinburg. So definitely look into a car rental.

With this event being on the smaller more intimate side, no hotel room block was reserved. Gatlinburg has dozens of hotels, and countless smaller cabins to rent. The venue is only about 15-20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, so any option of hotel is available for you to choose from. Especially if you decide to partake in the attractions Gatlinburg has to offer, which there are many.

We are having both the ceremony and reception at the Roosevelt Lodge. After the ceremony there will be a little cocktail hour before the party really gets started. Where there will be plenty of food and drink to go around.

Since we are all here to be having a great time celebrating and being merry together, enjoying good food and drink. We will be having a bar there for the reception, but if you like something in particular we'd encourage you to bring whatever you fancy most.

So to make a long story short, no not really. Michael and I have been building our lives together for the last 10 years. Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but you may choose to give whatever you'd like.
